2 Highly-Anticipated Upcoming Hyundai Cars In 2024

Hyundai, the South Korean automotive giant, has an ambitious roadmap for the coming years, unveiling a range of new models to captivate the market. Among these exciting developments, the company has planned updates for some of its existing models, namely the Alcazar, Creta, and Kona EV. These refreshed versions are anticipated to make their debut in 2024. Furthermore, Hyundai is set to introduce an all-new generation of its Venue subcompact SUV, slated for a 2025 launch.

Hyundai’s commitment to electrification is also evident in its forthcoming releases. The Creta EV and Exter EV, both electric vehicles, are on the horizon, though the specific launch timeline for the Exter EV is yet to be disclosed by the manufacturer. However, the spotlight for 2024 remains firmly fixed on two highly-anticipated Hyundai models: the Hyundai Creta facelift and the Hyundai Verna N Line. Here’s a brief on the aforementioned models

Hyundai Creta Facelift

The Hyundai Creta facelift is set to make its debut in January 2024, followed by its official market launch. While the core dimensions of the Creta will remain unchanged, the design will receive a refresh with inspiration drawn from the global-spec Palisade SUV. Some notable design elements will include a front grille with cube-like details, vertically positioned headlamps, and eye-catching LED DRLs.

Inside, the updated Creta will receive a technological boost with the introduction of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology, enhancing safety and convenience features. It will also feature a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster for a modern and immersive driving experience.

Under the hood, the Creta facelift will offer various powertrain options. These include the Verna’s 160bhp 1.5L turbo petrol engine, a 115bhp 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, and a 115bhp 1.5L diesel unit. This diverse range of engines will cater to different customer preferences, ensuring a wider appeal for the Creta.

Hyundai Verna N Line

Hyundai’s Verna N Line is another eagerly awaited model. A prototype of the Verna N Line has already been spotted during testing, and it promises to bring a sportier and more dynamic version of the standard Verna to the market.

Sportier elements both inside and outside the car will set it apart from the regular Verna models. The design will feature red brake calipers, akin to the Turbo trim, and alloy wheels reminiscent of the SX (O) trim. These visual enhancements will give the Verna N Line a more aggressive and athletic appearance.

Performance-wise, the Verna N Line will be based on the top-end trim and will be powered by a 1.5L petrol engine that delivers 160bhp and 253Nm of torque. Customers will have the choice of two gearbox options, a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DCT automatic, complete with paddle shifters for a more engaging driving experience.
