Is Hyundai Verna N Line Launch On Cards?

The new-generation Hyundai Verna went on sale in March 2023. Within three months of its arrival, the carmaker has retailed a total of 11,443 units of the sedan including 3,774 units in March, 4,001 units in April and 3,687 units in May. It seems like the South Korean automaker aims to further boost its sales with the sedan’s N Line version that was recently spotted testing with heavy camouflage. One must note that the company hasn’t yet revealed its plan for the Hyundai Verna N Line India launch.

What made us believe that it’s the Verna N Line are the red brake callipers (from the Turbo trim) and alloy wheels (from the top-end SX (O) trim). Compared to the regular model, the spotted one has slightly darker taillight section.

The N Line version is likely to feature some sporty design elements that will differentiate it from the regular model. There might be a differently designed bumper with red accents, a revised grille with new ‘chequered flag’ inspired design and the N Line logo. At the back, the model might feature a prominent diffuser and twin exhaust pipes.

The sporty treatment will continue inside the cabin as well. The new Hyundai Verna N Line might get red highlights, red ambient lighting, a bespoke three-spoke steering wheel, a new chequered flag design with N logo for the leatherette seats and N-branded leather gear knob.

The sedan’s sportier version will carry over all equipment from the top-end trim of the regular model including a 10.25-inch infotainment system with the latest smartphone connectivity, 8-speaker Bose system, front ventilated and heated seats, powered driver seat, Hyundai BlueLink, powered driver seat, smart trunk and ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).

If launched, the Hyundai Verna N Line will come with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine that’s good enough for 160bhp and 253Nm of torque. The motor can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox with paddle shifters.
