10,000 Honda CB350 Sold So Far; Café Racer Version Coming Soon

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has sold over 10,000 units of the H’Ness CB350 motorcycle in the country so far. Launched on 21st October last year, the model marked Honda’s entry into the 300-350cc modern-classic segment. The new Honda CB350 comes in two variants – DLX and DLX Pro – priced at Rs 1.86 lakh and Rs 1.92 lakh respectively. The motor has been tuned for producing a peak power of 20.8bhp at 5,500rpm and 30Nm of torque at 3,000rpm. The bike sits on an all-new double-cradle frame. Braking power comes from 310mm and 240mm front and rear disc brakes respectively. Suspension duties are taken care of by a telescopic fork upfront and twin shock absorbers rear units.

Honda CB350 Features

The Honda CB350 has been assembled with 100/90-19 front and 130/70-18 rear tyres. The bike offers s a 15-litre fuel tank capacity and has a kerb weight of 181kg. The new Honda 350cc motorcycle has been packed with several first-in-segment features including Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS) and an assist and slipper clutch.

The Japanese bikemaker plans to expand its product portfolio with a new model that’s likely to be the Café Racer version of the CB350. Reports suggest that it could be named Honda CB350RS. While its engine, suspension and braking mechanism will remain intact, a few design changes will be made to the model. The Honda CB50RS will have new Hornet 2.0-inspired LED taillamp and turn indicators. The rear tyre will be fatter measuring 17-inch in size.

Prices of the new Honda CB350 Café Racer will be announced on 16th February, 2021. It’s likely to cost slightly higher than the H’ness. More details will be revealed next week. Stay tuned to IndiaCarNews.
