Maruti Suzuki has announced to launch the new Brezza in the country on June 30, 2022. The company has also started accepting pre-bookings for the 2022 Maruti Brezza. Interested buyers can pre-book the SUV online or at authorised Arena dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000. Ahead of the launch, Maruti Suzuki has released multiple teasers revealing new details and features.
The latest teaser reveals the 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system of the new 2022 Maruti Brezza. The infotainment unit comes with SmartPlay Pro interface and the latest smartphone connectivity. MSIL has also confirmed that the new infotainment unit will come with premium sound acoustic tuning through ‘Surround Sense’ powered by ARKAMYS, offering signature ambiences created to suit various moods. The new infotainment unit also comes with advance voice assist system.
It is reported that the SmartPlay Pro interface will be reserved for the higher-spec ZXi trim. The lower spec variants will get SmartPlay Studio. The SUV will also receive Suzuki Connect with over 40 connected features. The unit will also support OTA (over-the-air) updates, wireless assistance and voice assistance.
The 2022 Maruti Brezza will also come with 360 degree camera, which should improve the driving and parking in India easy. This feature is already available in the top-spec Baleno hatchback. Moreover, the new Brezza will come with Head Up Display or HUD that is also offered with the Baleno. This system will give fair amount of information to the driver. It will also improve active safety as the HUD will allow drivers to keep their eyes on the road.
The company has confirmed that the new Brezza sub-4 meter SUV will come with a factory-fitted electric sunroof. The outgoing model misses out on this feature. In fact, most of its rivals including the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and the Mahindra XUV300 are equipped with factory-fitted electric sunroof.
2022 Maruti Brezza Key Details
The new Brezza sub-4 meter SUV comes equipped with several high-end features such as cooled glove box, rear wiper with intermittent functions, cruise control, automatic AC, 6 airbags, rear parking camera, hill hold assist, electronic stability program with roll over mitigation, etc. The SUV comes with dual LED projector headlamps with floating DRLs, auto headlamps with Follow-Me-Home & Lead-Me-to-Vehicle feature, 16-inch alloy wheels and LED fog lamps.
Brezza Electric Sunroof Teased
The new Maruti Brezza will be powered by a new K15C Smart Hybrid petrol engine with Dualjet and Dual VVT technology. This engine is capable of producing 103bhp and 137Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a new 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters and a 5-speed manual unit.
