Japanese two-wheeler automaker, Yamaha has unveiled the 2021 version of the YZF-R3 in the home market. The 2021 Yamaha R3 fully-faired motorcycle has been priced at 6,87,500 yen (approximately INR 4.90 lakh). The motorcycle will officially be launched in Japan from January 15, 2021.
The 2021 Yamaha R3 looks largely identical to the previous model, as the changes are very limited to the new colours. The new bike is now offered in 3 colour options – Cyan Metallic, Deep Purplish Blue Metallic and Matte Dark Grey.
Yamaha has also introduced the 2021 YZF-R25 fully-faired motorcycle, which has received similar changes. The 250cc motorcycle is available at 6,54,500 yen (approx INR 4.68 lakh). The new Cyan Metallic shades can be seen on the headlamp cowl, fairing and fuel tank. The blacked-out cycle parts and Cyan shades create a unique colour combination.
Except for the new colour options, the motorcycle remains the same. The 2021 Yamaha R3 comes equipped with a twin-pod LED headlamps, an LED tail-lamps, muscular fuel tank, full-fairing set-yp, and clip-on handlebar along with a step-up seat setup. It comes equipped with a digital instrument console.

Powering the new Yamaha R3 is a 320cc, parallel-twin cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is capable of producing 41.5bhp of power at 10,750rpm and a peak torque of 29Nm at 9,000rpm. Power is transmitted to the wheel via a 6-speed gearbox.
