Hyundai Elantra facelift Launched, Price Rs 15.89 lakh
Korean automaker, Hyundai has officially launched the 2019 Elantra facelift in the Indian market. Interested buyers can pre-book the Hyundai Elantra facelift at the company’s authorised dealership across India. Priced at Rs 15.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2020 Hyundai Elantra directly rivals the Honda Civic and the Skoda Octavia.

The new Hyundai Elantra is available in 3 variants – S, SX, SX (O) and SX(O) AT- priced between Rs 15.89 lakh and Rs 20.39 lakh.
Petrol Only
The Elantra facelift is available in petrol version only. It is powered by a BSVI compliant 2.0-litre petrol engine that is capable of producing 152PS of power at 6,200rpm and a peak torque of 192Nm at 4,000rpm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
Blue Link Connected Car Services
The Elantra facelift is the brand’s second model in India to feature Hyundai Blue Link connectivity solution. The connected car service has 34 features out of which 10 are India specific. The Blue Link tech is based on the theme ‘Your Connected Friend on the Go’, which is enabled by Artificial Intelligence and Server Based Voice Recognition technology that has Indian English support and natural language understanding. The Hyundai Blue Link features are mainly categorised in 7 parts – Safety, Security, Remote, Vehicle Relationship Management (VRM), Location based service, Alert services and Artificial Intelligence.

Design and Interior Changes
In terms of styling changes, the Hyundai Elantra facelift receives the brand’s new signature ‘cascading grille’, revised headlamps with LED daytime running lights, new triangular shaped fog lamps and new bonnet. It rides on newly-designed alloy wheels, while the rear has refreshed bumper and newly designed wrparound tail-lights.
The cabin of the Hyundai Elantra facelift gets new features. It sports a new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. Adding to it, the sedan also gets dual-zone climate control, a tyre pressure monitoring, cooled front seats and leather upholstery.
