The near production version of the Ciaz sedan, which was unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, has recently been unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show. Named as Suzuki Alivio, the vehicle looks more modern than the SX4 sedan.

The spy pictures suggest that the spotted vehicle shares most of its styling cues with its concept. It is equipped with wide chrome grille which is complemented by wrap-around headlamps with projector units, bumpers, door handles and wheels. The rear profile of the sedan looks identical to the concept. Moreover, the exhaust tips are integrated into the bumpers which we have seen on the concept as well.

If media reports to believe, Suzuki Alivio offers more spacious cabin the SX4. The vehicle is likely to feature an advanced music system with Bluetooth, AUX-in and multimedia function. The top spec model will be equipped with automatic climate control with rear AC vents, Start/Stop button, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, etc.

The Suzuki Alivio concept unveiled at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show was powered by the 1.5-litre DOHC 4-cylinder petrol engine paired to a six speed automatic transmission gearbox. The Indian model will be offered in both petrol and diesel guise- a 1.6-litre or 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.3-litre multi-jet diesel engine.
