Mumbai-based Liger Mobility had revealed the self-balancing and self-parking technology in an electric scooter in 2019. The company has confirmed that the production-ready electric scooter with self balancing and self parking tech will make its global debut at the 2023 Auto Expo. The company has also released two images of the electric scooter ahead of its unveiling at the biennial event.
The auto-balancing technology is developed completely in-house by Liger Mobility. This tech enables the electric scooter to balance automatically, which significantly enhances rider safety, comfort and convenience as compared to any other scooters on sale globally. The company claims that “auto-balancing technology also enables a host of path breaking industry-first features providing unprecedented riding experience.”
The self-balancing Liger electric scooter comes with retro styling along with modern features and tech. The overall styling seems heavily inspired from the Classic Vespa and the Yamaha Fascino. The front of the scooter is fitted with a delta-shaped LED headlamp mounted on the front apron. Also on offer is a sleek horizontally placed LED daytime running light on the top fairing. The round-shaped LED turn indicators are mounted on the front cowl.
The electric scooter comes with an all-digital instrument console, an LED tail-light, telescopic front suspension, wider seat, alloy wheels etc. The scooter in the teaser is finished in Matte Red. For braking, the scooter gets disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear.
