The long-awaited Volkswagen Taigun mid-sized SUV will be launched in the third week of 2021. Interested buyers can pre-book the new Taigun SUV online or via authorised dealerships at a token amount of Rs 25,000. The company is also working on a new mid-sized sedan, which is now reportedly to make a global debut sometime in February next year. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The sedan could also get a new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which will also power the Taigun. Paired to a 7-speed DSG, this engine produces 147bhp and 250Nm of torque.
