TVS Apache RTR 310

TVS Motor Company is all set to introduce a new entry-level sports bike, called the Apache Street 310 or Apache RTR 310 on September 6, 2023. The new model is basically the naked version of the Apache RR 310. The teaser reveals that the motorcycle gets a lower-placed two-piece LED headlamps, a cylindrical exhaust, a pointed tail, a rear set-set footpegs, a single-piece handlebar, muscular fuel tank and a split seat setup. The motorcycle is likely to get a non-adjustable USD front fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock suspension setup. It will be powered by the same 312.7cc, reverse inclined, single-cylinder engine that produces 34PS and 27.3Nm of torque.

New KTM 390 Duke

KTM will launch the new gen 390 Duke in the country by the end of September 2023. The new model comes with an all-new styling, featuring new LED headlight with boomerang-shaped DRLs, a new split seat setup, exposed rear subframe, larger fuel tank, and sporty riding stance. It is powered by a larger 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 44.25bhp and 39Nm of torque, and is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets slipper clutch with quickshifter, 3 ride modes – Street, Rain & track, 43mm USD front forks with rebound & compression adjustability.

Aprilia RS 440

Aprilia is all set to introduce a new smaller capacity sport bike in our market to rival the likes of the KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 400. Called the Aprilia RS 440, the fully-faired motorcycle is scheduled to be unveiled on September 7 and launch is expected in the 4th week of September. The motorcycle shares styling cues from the RS 660 and the RSV4 superbike. It will be powered by a new 440cc parallel-twin motor that is based on the parallel-twin engine of the RS660.

Yamaha R3 & MT-03

Yamaha is planning to introduce the globally popular YZF-R3 fully-faired and the MT-04 naked sportsbikes in the country before the end of this financial year. Few dealers have already started accepting pre-orders for the new R3 at a token amount of Rs 5,000. Both bikes are powered by a 321cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 42bhp and 29.5Nm of torque, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycles get upside-down front fork & monoshock at the rear. For braking, the bikes get 298mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes.

The much-awaited new-gen RE Himalayan 450 will finally go on sale in our market on November 1, 2023. The new Himalayan will be the first RE to feature a liquid-cooled engine. It will have a new 450cc engine with power output close to 35bhp to 40bhp & torque up to 40Nm. The motorcycle will feature an all-LED lighting system & USD front fork, a three-in-one tail-lamp setup with two LED flashers, a beat-like front guard and a large windscreen.

After launching the Speed 400, Triumph Motorcycles India is ready to announce the prices of the Scrambler 400 X. The motorcycle is powered by a 398cc, liquid-cooled engine featuring DOHC architecture, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 40bhp and 37.5Nm of torque. It is designed on a hybrid spine/perimeter frame that is built front tubular steel. It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloys wrapped in Metzeler Karoo Street tyres. The Triumph Scrambler 400 X get 43mm big-piston front fork and a monoshock at the rear. The Scrambler has 150mm of travel at each end.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650

Not just the Himalayan 450, Royal Enfield is also planning to launch the new Shotgun 650 in the country. It is based on the RE SG650 concept bobber that debuted at the 2021 EICMA Motor Show. The motorcycle will have circular headlamps & turn indicators, a twin-pod instrument console, a pea-shooter exhaust with black finish, underslung bar-end mirrors, low and wide handlebars & mid-set footpegs. It will be powered by a 648cc, air/oil cooled, parallel twin engine that produces 47bhp and 52Nm of torque. It will come with an inverted front fork unit and twin shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, the bike will get disc brakes and dual-channel ABS.

Launch – Early 2024
