TVS Motor Company has recently introduced the 2021 Apache RR 310, which comes with new race-spec packages. The company is also preparing a wide range of new motorcycles and scooters including electric vehicles. A new media report claims that TVS will soon launch two new two-wheelers in the country this year.
The first TVS product to be launched in our market is a 125cc scooter, which is reportedly to be called the TVS Jupiter 125. It will be positioned between the Jupiter 110 and the TVS NTorq 125. It is reported that the new TVS Jupiter 125 will come with all-new design. The new product has been built from ground up, but it will share some styling cues from the 110cc variant.
The new TVS Jupiter 125 is likely to look more attractive and will offer more practicality than the 110cc sibling. It will directly rival the new Honda Activa 125 and the Access 125. The report claims that the fuel tank is expected to be placed under the floorboard and the fuel lid will be placed at the back of the front apron. The company aims to maximise the under seat space. It is likely to offer space to accommodate 2 half face helmets. It is likely to get analog speedometer with a small LCD screen to show details about fuel level and tripmeters.
It is expected that the new scooter will share the engine with the NTorq. However, the power figures and CVT ratios might be diferent. The fuel efficiency numbers will also be improved significantly over the NTorq 125. The new Jupiter 125 is expected to be launched in the next few weeks.
The second TVS product to be launched in our market is the new 125cc motorcycle, which is rumoured to be called the Fiero 125. The new motorcycle could be launched within few days. It is reportedly to get a sporty design. It is likely to draw design inspiration from the Apache RTR 160 4V. The new Fiero 125 is expected to share the engine option with the existing TVS motorcycles including the Star City 125 and the Victor 125.
