TVS Motor Company has rolled its new flagship motorcycle – TVS Apache RR 310 – in India at Rs 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom). First showcased as Akula concept at the 2016 Auto Expo, the Apache RR 310 is the first bike designed and developed under joint venture of BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor Company. Production of this bike takes place at the bikemaker’s Hosur plant in Chennai. The all-new Apache RR 310 has been designed for multiple purposes including daily commuting, touring and the occasional track racing.

The TVS Apache RR 310 derives its power from a 312cc, four-stroke, four-valve, single-cylinder, reverse-inclined engine that’s good for 33.5bhp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of peak torque at 7700rpm. The new TVS 300cc bike is highly impressive in terms of performance. It’s claimed to deliver a top speed of 160kmph, and achieve 0-60kmph in 2.93 seconds. What further enhance its overall performance and handling is the steel trellis frame.

Colour options of the Apache RR 310 include – Red and Matte Black. Some of the key features include LED projector headlamps, LED taillamp, LED turn indicators, vertically stacked instrument panel with multiple information display, 300mm front and 240mm rear petal disc brakes along with dual-channel ABS, upside down Kayaba front forks and a rear monoshock suspension unit, etc.
