BMW Motorrad India has officially announced that its upcoming fully-faired motorcycle will be called the new BMW G310 RR. In fact, pre-orders for the new motorcycle has also been commenced. The new motorcycle is essentially a rebadged TVS Apache RR310; however, BMW engineers have made some changes to keep things fresh in the market.
The new BMW G310 RR is scheduled to be launched on July 15, 2022. Deliveries for the new motorcycle will be done on a first come first serve basis post launch. BMW India Financial Services is offering a complete package. Benefits include zero down payment, low monthly payments starting at INR 3,999 and the option to fund insurance and accessories.
Multiple teaser images and videos have already revealed the design highlight of the new motorcycle. The upcoming BMW G310 RR looks largely identical to the Apache RR310. The company would add different paint schemes and livery. Adding to it, the front profile of the motorcycle will be inspired by bigger BMW bikes.
The new BMW G310RR fully-faired motorcycle is likely to source the Bi-LED projector headlights and LED indicators with the Apache RR310. The motorcycle could also receive aggressive clip-on handlebar and foot pegs, which we have already seen on the new Apache BTO kit.
The new BMW G310 RR will use the trellis frame and subframe. It could get the adjustable USD front fork and the preload & rebound adjustable monoshock at the rear. The braking system will be sourced from the Apache RR310. The motorcycle will offer TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. It will also offer multiple riding modes – Rain, Urban, Sport and Track.
Powering the motorcycle is a 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 33bhp of power at 9,700rpm and a peak torque of 27.3Nm at 7,700rpm.
