Japanese automaker, Toyota has officially announced that the prices of the top-selling Innova Crysta MPV will be increased by 2% from August 1, 2021. The company said that the prices are being raised to partially offset the increase in input costs.
Toyota had launched the Innova Crysta facelift in November 2020. The MPV was introduced in 3 trim levels – GX, VX and ZX – priced between Rs 16.26 lakh and Rs 24.33 lakh. In terms of styling, the Innova Crysta facelift gets prominent trapezoidal piano black grille with chrome surround, new front bumper, LED fog lamps and newly-styled 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
The Innova Crysta comes with the new Camel tan colour upholstery. It comes with a large Smart Playcast touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The MPV also comes with connectivity features such as rear-time vehicle tracking, last parked location, geofencing and more.
The MPV offers front clearance sonar with MID display that prevents collisions while parking in tight spaces and provides safe driving. It gets 7 airbags, hill start assist, front parking sensors and vehicle stability control as standard safety features.
The Toyota Innova Crysta is available with two engine options – a 2.4-litre turbo diesel and a 2.7-litre turbocharged petrol. While the former is good for 148bhp and 360Nm of torque, the petrol engine produces 164bhp and 245Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
