New Tata Safari/Harrier
The homegrown UV maker, Tata Motors has officially announced to showcase its upcoming ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System) tech. It is expected that ADAS tech will be first offered on the new Safari facelift & Harrier facelift. These two SUVs have already been spotted testing on the Indian roads. The new models will receive significant design changes and an all-new cabin. Both SUVs will also come equipped with advanced features like 360 degree camera, a bigger touchscreen infotainment system & ADAS. The ADAS tech will offer features like forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane assist and others.
New Hyundai Creta facelift
The Korean automaker, Hyundai will showcase the new Creta facelift at the 2023 Auto Expo. The new model will come with significant design changes & upgraded cabin with advanced features. Hyundai has confirmed that its ADAS tech offered on the Tucson will be added to its existing model line-up. The ADAS tech of Tucson comes with 16 features. It offers forward collision warning (FCW), forward collision-avoidance assist for car, pedestrian, cycle and junction turning, lane keeping assist (LKA), lane departure warning, blind-spot collision – avoidance assist (BCA), safe exit warning (SEW), leading vehicle departure alert (LVDA), high-beam assist (HBA), smart cruise control with Stop & GO, lane following assist (LFA), rear-cross traffic collision warning, rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist and blind-spot view monitor.
New Kia Seltos
Kia will introduce the significantly upgraded Seltos SUV in the country in 2023. Likely to be unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo, the new Kia Seltos facelift will receive design changes and an upgraded cabin. The SUV will also come with several high-end features, which was missing in the existing model. It will share the ADAS tech with the new Creta and will offer similar features.
MG Hector facelift
MG Motor India will introduce the new Hector SUV in the country on January 5, 2022. The new model comes with design changes and upgraded interior. It will come with an all-new interior, featuring a segment-largest 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The SUV will also come with ADAS tech with features like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and others.
Maruti’s MPV Based On Innova Hycross
After Hyryder & Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki is now preparing a new MPV based on the new Toyota Innova Hycross. The new model will come with Maruti Suzuki’s design language with significantly revised front and rear profile. It offers Toyota Safety Sense suite of ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). The 3-row MPV will offer features like adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor, lane keep assist, rear cross traffic alert and pre-collision system. Other safety features include 6 airbags, traction control, electronic stability program and ABS with EBD.
New-gen Hyundai Verna
The Korean automaker will showcase the next gen Verna sedan at the 2023 Auto Expo. The new model will grow in size and will offer several segment-leading features. Similar to the new Creta, the new Hyundai Verna will also receive Tucson-like ADAS tech. The ADAS features will include FCW, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, high beam assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and others.
