The company’s market share dropped to 41.57% in April 2022, while Tata Motors increased to 14.17% last month. The gap between Tata Motors and Hyundai came down to less than 1%, as the later currently has a market share of 15%.

1.Tata Nexon
Tata Motors sold 13,471 units of the Nexon SUV in the month of April 2022 as against 6,938 units in the same month last year. The Nexon has recorded a massive Year-On-Year sales growth of 94%.
2. Hyundai Creta
Hyundai Creta manages to grab the second position in the list of top selling SUVs in the country. Hyundai sold 12,651 Creta SUVs in the month of April 2022 against 12,463 units in the same month last year. The SUV has reported a year-on-year sales growth of 2 per cent.
3. Maruti Brezza
Maruti Suzuki has sold 11,764 units of the Vitara Brezza in April 2022 as against 11,220 in the same month last year. The Brezza record a year-on-year sales growth of 5 per cent. MSIL is also preparing the new Brezza sub-4 meter SUV, which is scheduled to be launched in June 2022.
4. Tata Punch
Tata Motors smallest SUV, the Punch has been receiving an overwhelming response from car buyers. The small SUV managed to enter the list of top 10 selling cars of the country. It is currently the 4th best selling SUV in the month of April 2022. Tata Motors sold 10,132 units of the Punch micro SUV last month.
5. Hyundai Venue
Hyundai’s sub-4 meter SUV, the Venue has reported a year-on-year sales decline of 25 per cent. The company sold 8,392 units of the Venue compact SUV as against 11,245 in the same month last year.
