We have already reported the top 10 car companies in terms of sales in the month of November 2022. In this article, we bring you a list of top 25 selling cars in November 2022. The top 25 selling cars contributes to close to 77 per cent of total cars sold last month. Maruti Suzuki has 10 models in the list of top 25 cars in November 2022 sales. On the other hand, Hyundai, Tata Motors and Mahindra have 4 models in the list, and 3 from Kia.

The numbers also suggest that SUVs & MPVs have dominated the sales, as 11 SUVs and 3 MPVs stand firm in the list of top 25 cars in November 2022. Sedans sales are fast shrinking, as only Dzire remains the top-selling model in its category. It also shows that hatchback buyers are now opting for SUVs.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno becomes the best-selling model in the country in November 2022. The company sold 20,945 units of Baleno last month, reporting a year-on-year sales growth of 111 per cent. In the same month, last year, MSIL had dispatched 9,931 units of Baleno. The biggest change in the list comes in the form of Tata Nexon, which displaces Maruti’s hatchbacks and sedan to become the 2nd best selling model in November 2022. Tata Motors sold 15,871 units of Nexon last month, which is 61% higher compared to 9,831 units in November 2021.
The Maruti Alto, Swift, WagonR, Dzire and the Ertiga hold the next 5 slots in the list of top 25 selling cars. MSIL sold 15663 units, 15153 units, 14720 units, 14456 units and 13818 units of Alto, Swift, WagonR, Dzire and Ertiga respectively in November 2022. The Hyundai Creta grabs the 8th position with 13,321 units sold in November 2022 as against 10,300 units in the same month last year.
Tata Punch is at 9th with 12,131 units sold last month, while Maruti Brezza slips to 10th position with 11324 units dispatched in November 2022. Hyundai Venue is at 11th with 10,738 units sold in November 2022, while Kia manages to sell 9,284 units of Seltos to grab 12th position. The Mahindra Bolero reported a 47 per cent YoY sales growth with 7,984 units sold in November 2022 as against 5,442 units in the same month last year.
Hyundai’s Grand i10 Nios is at 14th position, while the 15th position is grabed by Kia Sonet. Mahindra;s Scorpio nameplate reported a YoY sales growth of 92 per cent with 6,488 units sold last month. Kia India sold 6,360 units of Carens MPV in November 2022. Mahindra also sold 5,903 and 5,701 units of XUV300 and XUV700 respectively last month. Maruti’s mid-sized SUV, the Grand Vitara reported sales of 4,433 units in November 2022.
