Tata Tiago EV was introduced in September 2022 within the price range of Rs 8.49 lakh – Rs 11.79 lakh. These prices were only applicable for the first 20,000 buyers (across all the variants), out of which 2,000 were reserved for the existing Tigor EV and Nexon EV customers. Now, the launch pricing comes to an end and the company announced the new prices. The electric hatchback is currently available within the price range of Rs 8.69 lakh – Rs 11.99 lakh.
The model lineup includes two 19.2kWh variants – XE and XT – which are now priced at Rs 8.69 lakh and Rs 9.29 lakh respectively. Prices of the 24kWh variants with 3.3kW AC charging option start from Rs 10.19 lakh and go up to Rs 11.49 lakh. The XZ+ and XZ+ Tech LUX variants with 24kWh battery pack and 7.2kW AC charger cost Rs 11.49 lakh and Rs 11.99 lakh respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.

The carmaker has also revealed that the Tata Tiago EV is the “fastest booked EV” in the country. The model gathered 10,000 bookings on the first day and 20,000 orders within a month. The electric hatchback can be had with a 19.2kWh or a 24kWh battery pack. Its batteries and motor are IP67 rated for dust and water resistance. With the 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery, the Tiago EV offers a range of 250km and 315km respectively. The model has also been boosted with Tata’s Ziptron high-voltage technology that includes a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor. The e-motor pushes out a peak power of 74bhp with 114Nm and 61bhp with 110Nm with the smaller and larger battery packs respectively.
Some of its key features include automatic climate, 45 connected car features via ZConnect app, rain sensing wipers, hill start and descent assist, push button start/stop, cruise control, multi-mode regeneration, tyre pressure monitoring system, automatic headlamps and more.
