The September 2021 car sales report is out and it shows a massive decline across segments, including SUVs, sedans and hatchbacks. Despite slow-down, Tata Motors manages to remain stable with some of its cars doing impressive sales number. In this article, we bring you a list of top selling sub-4 meter SUVs in the Indian market in September 2021.
– In the sub-4 meter SUV segment, not a single product has crossed 10,000 sales mark. In fact, the Kia Seltos is the top-selling SUV in our market with total sales of 9,583 units.

– In the sub-4 meter SUV segment, the Tata Nexon grabs the position of top selling model. The company sold 9,211 units in September 2021 as against 6,007 units sold in the same month last year. Last month, the company had delivered 10,006 Nexons in India.
– Hyundai Venue secures second position with 7,924 units sold in September 2021 as against 8,469 units sold in the same month last year. It recorded a year-on-year sales decline of 6.4 percent.
– Kia Sonet is at third with 4,454 units sold in September as against 9,266 units in the same month last year. It recorded a massive year-on-year sales decline of 51.93%.
– Mahindra XUV300 recorded year-on-year marginal sales decline of just 0.19 percent. Mahindra sold 3,693 units in September 2021 as against 3,700 units sold in the same month last year. On the other hand, Nissan Magnite secured 5th position with 2,330 units sold in September 2021.
– The biggest decline is registered by Maruti Vitara Brezza, which recorded a massive year-on-year sales decline of 79.53%. Maruti Suzuki sold 1,874 units in September 2021 as against 9,153 units in the corresponding month last year.
– Toyota Urban Cruiser and Honda WR-V secured 8th and 9th position in the list of top selling sub-4 meter SUVs in September 2021. Toyota sold 816 units of Urban cruiser, while Honda delivered 687 units of WR-V.
