Tata Motors is preparing to launch the new Nexon, Harrier & Safari facelifts before the end of this financial year. The company had showcased the Curvv SUV Coupe concept at the 2023 Auto Expo, which is reportedly to be introduced sometime in the first half of 2024. Tata Motors has started testing the Curvv SUV Coupe on the Indian roads.

Measuring 4.3 meters in length, the Tata Curvv SUV Coupe will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder and the soon-to-be-launched Honda Elevate. The new SUV is based on the GEN 2 platform, which will also underpin the electric derivative of the Curvv.

The spotted model was heavily wrapped in a thick cloth, revealing limited details. In fact, the rear end of the car is heavily camouflaged. It features a steeply raked windshield & sleek, angular tail lamp units. It will come with all-new cabin design, featuring a three-layer dashboard with a large touchscreen, a digital instrument console and a two-spoke steering wheel housing a central screen.

The Curvv SUV Coupe is likely to get a bigger battery pack (around 40kWh) and is expected to offer a range of 400-500km. The ICE version will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 125bhp and 225Nm of torque. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be available.
