Tata Curvv SUV at Bharat Mobility Show – Production-Ready Model

At the Bharat Mobility Show 2024, Tata Motors revealed the pre-production model of the Curvv SUV, stealing the spotlight as one of the most intriguing product unveilings. The event showcased an array of new and upcoming models from the automaker, such as the Tata Altroz Racer, Safari Dark Edition, and Harrier EV. Set to rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Tata Curvv coupe SUV will initially be available with an electric powertrain, with the ICE-powered version to follow later. Design Details

Painted in a vibrant orange color, the showcased Tata Curvv adheres faithfully to the concept introduced early last year. It embraces the brand’s fresh design language, featuring a distinctive grille, a front bumper with a wide air dam, headlamp clusters, and a fog lamp assembly reminiscent of the updated Harrier and Safari SUVs.

Notable design elements include sequential turn signals, squared wheel arches, pincer-styled dual-tone machined alloy wheels, and robust body cladding enveloping the entire vehicle. The windows are framed with chrome, and the Curvv is the first Tata model to introduce flush-type door handles. The sloping roofline seamlessly merges with the rear profile, while the back of the SUV boasts a pronounced bumper, a full-width LED light strip, bumper-integrated taillamps, and a split aero rear spoiler. Notably, Tata plans to introduce the Curvv with petrol and diesel engine options as well. The petrol variant will debut Tata’s new 1.2L turbo motor, generating 125PS and 225Nm, while the diesel model will adopt the 1.5L unit from the Nexon, producing 115bhp and 260Nm.
