Maruti Suzuki is currently selling the Ertiga and the XL6 multi-purpose vehicles with mild-hybrid (SHVS) technology. However, Suzuki has now introduced the new Ertiga Cruise Hybrid at the Indonesia International Motor Show. The new model has received design changes and lithium-ion battery capacity in the hybrid system.
The new Suzuki Ertiga Cruise Hybrid version is equipped with a bigger 10Ah battery pack that is paired with the 1.5-litre K15B naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The bigger battery pack is claimed to offer optimal performance and higher efficiency. It comes with an idle start/stop feature, which also plays an important role in increasing the fuel efficiency. The battery is offered with eight years of warranty. The engine churns out a maximum power output of 103bhp and a peak torque of 137Nm.
In terms of styling, the new Suzuki Ertiga Cruise Hybrid comes with dual-tone paint scheme with Pearl Snow white body and a contrasting black roof. It comes with a Front Garnish Bumper and Front Under Spoiler. The side profile has an updated new Side Body Decal and New Side Under Spoiler.
At the back, the MPV gets a new rear upper spoiler and new rear garnish design. It rides on 15-inch alloy wheels. The MPV comes with projector headlamps along with bumper-mounted LED daytime running lamps.
Inside, the new Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid comes with all-black interior scheme. It is equipped with a semi-digital instrument cluster, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated cup holders in the centre console, cruise control, automatic climate control and an armrest for the second row passengers.
