Mahindra-owned, SsangYong that recently revealed the sketches of the much-awaited Tivoli compact SUV has now officially revealed the teaser video of the SUV. Previously known as the X100 compact SUV, the Tivoli teaser video comes ahead of its global unveiling scheduled in January, 2015.
It is basically the production spec X100 concept, which was already previewed at several platforms across the world. It will first go on sale in Korea in January 2015, and will later launch in other international markets. The recent rendering images of the Tivoli compact SUV features modern silhouette, and looks dynamic.
The teaser video reveals various camouflaged test prototypes of the Tivoli undergoing testing. The near production version of the compact SUV was showcased at the Paris Motor Show as XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure. Its interiors are designed to give comfortable travelling experience to consumers, and offers easy connectivity to smartphones and tablets.
The SsangYong Tivoli compact SUV would be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel options. Both models are likely to get 1.6-litre petrol and diesel units. It is expected to be slightly longer than 4 metres, and would compete against the likes of Honda Vezel, Hyundai ix25 and Renault Duster.
