Skoda Kushaq Xpedition Edition Image Reveals Details

Skoda India revealed its plan to launch 3 to 5 new models in the coming months including a sub-4 metre SUV and an EV. The carmaker will also update its existing Slavia sedan and Kushaq SUV along with the limited editions of the Octavia RSiV. Recently, the Skoda Kushaq Xpedition Edition was caught on camera revealing some interesting design details. One must note that the company hasn’t yet convey a word about its market launch.

The Skoda Kushaq Xpedition Edition has been painted in the sporty Honey Orange colour scheme. You can notice the ‘Xpedition’ badge placed just below the front grille. The SUV’s special edition gets black treatment on the C-pillar, and alloy wheels with orange inserts. It has body decals of mountain ranges highlighting its adventure character. It also features a roof rack with integrated auxiliary LED lights.

As of now, interior details are not available. Though, the Xpedition Edition is likely to get some sporty bits inside the cabin as well. Similar to the regular model, the special edition will offer features such as a single-pane sunroof, leather upholstery, keyless entry with push button start, auto dimming IRVMs, 6-speaker sound system with subwoofer, ventilated front seats, a 10.inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, a 3.5-inch MID, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, anti-theft alarm, multiple airbags and more.

Talking about the engines, the Skoda Kushaq Xpedition Edition could be offered with both turbocharged petrol engines. The SUV comes with the 1.0L, 3-cylinder TSI and 1.5L, 4-cylinder TSI motors delivering a claimed power of 115bhp with 178Nm and 150bhp with 250Nm respectively. A 6-speed gearbox is standard. While a 6-speed torque convertor automatic is exclusively offered with the 1.0L TSI unit, the 1.5L TSI gets an optional 7-speed DSG transmission.
