Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Launching In Early 2023

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 recently had its world premiere at EICMA, followed by its India debut at the 2022 Rider Mania in Goa. The cruiser has been listed on Royal Enfield’s India website and its market launch is likely to happen in early 2023. Its official launch date, however, is yet to be announced. The company has confirmed that the bike will be available in Standard and Tourer variants. It will be the brand’s most expensive 650cc cruiser motorcycle that’s estimated to cost around Rs 3.5 lakh – Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom).

First talking about its engine, the RE Super Meteor 650 uses a 648cc, air and oil-cooled parallel twin engine. It delivers a claimed power of 47bhp at 7,250rpm and 52Nm of torque at 5,650rpm. The same powertrain does duty in the Royal Enfield Interceptor and Continental GT 650. The company says that its motor has bespoke mapping and gearing and delivers 80% of peak torque at 2,500rpm.
