Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 & New Bullet 350 Launching Soon

Royal Enfield has recently launched the new Hunter 350 motorcycle in the country. It is the brand’s lightest and most affordable motorcycle with prices starting from Rs 1.50 lakh. The company is also developing multiple new motorcycles including two new 650cc bikes, new Himalayan 450 and a new generation Bullet. The new RE Shotgun 650 and the new Bullet 350 are likely to be launched in the next few months, most probably in early 2023.

Royal Enfield is aggressively testing the new Shotgun 650 with and without accessories on the Indian roads. It is expected to make global debut at EICMA 2022 in November. The motorcycle shares design cues from the GG650 cruiser concept, which was unveiled at the 2021 EICMA. It is designed and developed on RE’s 650cc platform that underpins the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650.

Similar to the new Hunter, the new RE Shotgun 650 will be offered in multiple variants. Moreover, RE will also offer several accessories with the new bike. It is expected to be powered by the same 648cc, parallel-twin, air-and-oil cooled engine that produces 47bhp and 52Nm of torque. The motorcycle will have USD front forks and dual disc brakes with dual channel ABS system.

The production ready version of the new gen Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has been spotted multiple times on the Indian roads. It is expected to be launched sometime later this year or early next year. The new Bullet 350 will be based on the new RE’s “J” platform that underpins the new Meteor 350, Hunter and the new Classic 350. The new motorcycle will be powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The motor will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

The new Bullet 350 will retain the original classic styling with some modern features. The motorcycle will be equipped with the telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The bike will have front disc and rear drum brakes along with a single-channel ABS system.
