Royal Enfield is preparing a wide range of new motorcycles for the Indian market. The company will launch 3 new 650cc motorcycles, a new 350cc Hunter, next-gen Himalayan and a road-biased Himalayan Scram 411. The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is all set to launch in the country in the next few weeks.
In fact, Royal Enfield has already started dispatching the new Scram 411 road-biased motorcycle to dealerships. The new model will be positioned as an affordable version of the Himalayan range with more road-specific features. It misses out on windscreen, raised front fenders and front and rear racks.
The new Royal Enfield Scram 411 comes with compact tank shrouds at the front and 19-inch spoked front wheel instead of 21-inch unit. It also gets differently designed turn indicators and dual-purpose tyres. The motorcycle gets circular headlamp and rear view mirrors, wide handlebar, fork gaiters, split seats and a single piece grab rail & upswept exhaust.
The new Royal Enfield Scram 411 is likely to come with two dual-tone colour options. The vehicle will have an updated instrument console; however, it will miss out on Tripper navigation system.
The upcoming RE Scram 411 will be powered by the 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled SOHC engine that produces 24.3bhp and 32Nm of torque. This powertrain could be calibrated to make it road-biased. Transmission duties will be performed by a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle will have telescopic front forks and monoshock unit at the rear. For stopping power, the bike will have disc brakes and a dual-channel ABS system.
