Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Soon Get A New Variant – Details

Royal Enfield will soon expand the Meteor 350 model lineup in the country. According to a fresh media report, the bikemaker is planning to introduce a new variant with 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. It will witness a see by the end of June or early July 2022. The new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 variant is likely to carry slightly more aggressive stance along with a flatter handlebar and a single-piece contoured seat. It could get sporty blacked treatment on the underpinnings and engine case. There might also be new colour schemes on offer.

No other changes will be made to the bike. The new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 variant will feature the conventional 41mm telescopic fork with 130mm travel at the front and twin shock absorbers with 6-step preload adjustment at the rear. It will have a 1400mm long wheelbase and 170mm of ground clearance. For stopping power, the bike will have a 300mm and a 270mm disc brake at the front and rear axles respectively.

With the new RE Meteor 350 variant, the company will target young enthusiasts who aspire for “urban-centric cruisers”. Its prices are likely to be around Rs 8,000 – Rs 10,000 higher than the existing entry-level Fireball variant. The latter comes with a price tag of Rs 2.01 lakh (ex-showroom).

In other updates, Royal Enfield is reported to launch the new Hunter 350cc bike by the end of June 2022. Based on the Meteor’s platform, the model will come with the 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that’s good for 20.2bhp and 2Nm. The bike will have retro naked roadster styling with elements such as round headlamp and rear view mirrors, rounded fuel tank, compact exhaust and short tail section.

The Chennai-based bikemaker has also lined-up multiple new 350cc and 650cc motorcycles. The plan outlines Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Royal Enfield Classic 650, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and new-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350.
