Royal Enfield Hunter 350cc Launch Within A Few Weeks – Key Details

Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch the new Hunter 350cc roadster motorcycle in India. While its official launch date is yet to be announced, a latest media report says that it will hit roads by the end of June 2022. The model has been on test for a very long time and we have seen multiple spy images and videos revealing its details. Here’re key details we know so far about the upcoming new Royal Enfield Hunter 350cc bike.

Platform, Engine

– The new RE roadster will share its platform (J) and engine with the Meteor 350. The brand’s new ‘J’ architecture is claimed to provide better straight line and cornering stability without compromising on comfort.

RE Hunter 350 Spied

– The bike will derive its power from the 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine featuring OHC setup. The motor returns a claimed power of 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. – Royal Enfield might tune or change the engine’s character to give it a sportier exhaust note.

Suspension, Brakes

– The new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will have the conventional telescopic forks upfront and dual rear shock absorbers for performing transmission duties.

– It will be equipped with front and rear disc brakes along with the standard dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

Design, Features

– Unlike the existing RE 350cc bikes, the new RE Hunter 350 will carry a retro naked roadster design language. It will feature a circular headlamp and rear view mirrors, rounded fuel tank, short tail section and compact exhaust.

– The bike will offer single piece seat. It could be offered with wire-spoke wheels and alloy wheels options.

– Similar to the Meteor, the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will come with tripper navigation system.
