Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Prices Updated

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, launched in India last November, has proven to be a resounding success for the Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer. Initially introduced with an introductory price starting at Rs 2.69 lakh for the base Kaza Brown variant, the middle Pass, Kamet White, and top-end Hanle Black color models were priced at Rs 2.74 lakh, Rs 2.79 lakh, and Rs 2.84 lakh, respectively. However, these introductory prices were applicable only until December 31, 2023. With the advent of the new year, the RE Himalayan has witnessed a price increase of up to Rs 16,000.

RE Himalayan Review

Following the price adjustment, the Kaza Brown color variant is now priced at Rs 2,85,000. The Slate Himalayan Salt/Poppy is available at Rs 2,89,000, while the Kamet White model is listed at Rs 2,93,000. The top-tier Hanle Black variant, despite the increment, remains competitively priced at Rs 2,98,000. It’s important to note that all the mentioned prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Royal Enfield has also disclosed the prices for various accessories, including the top mount box, protection engine guard, aluminum adventure side pannier (available in Silver and Black), aluminum adventure top box (available in Silver and Black), black touring mirrors, black rally handle pad, black adventure rider seat, and more.

New Royal Enfield Himalayan Prices

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is equipped with a new 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, generating 40bhp and 40Nm of torque. Referred to as the Sherpa 450, this engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch, boasting a weight reduction of 10kg compared to the previous LS 411 engine. The motorcycle features an all-new steel twin-spar frame, with a suspension setup comprising a 43mm USD fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock, both providing a travel of 200mm.

Key features of the Himalayan 450 include a new 4-inch TFT dash with Bluetooth connectivity, ride-by-wire (a first for Royal Enfield), 21/17-inch wheels, two riding modes (Eco and Performance), 320mm front disc and 270mm rear disc brakes, and dual-channel ABS.
