Royal Enfield Himalayan 2021 Launched; Prices, 6 Colors

Royal Enfield has launched the 2021 Himalayan in the Indian market. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 2021 adventure tourer is available at a starting price of Rs 2.36 lakh. The company has started dispatching the new motorcycle to dealerships.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 2021 is available in 6 new colors – Mirage Silver, Gravel Grey, Lake Blue, Rock Red, Granite Black and Pine Green – priced between INR 2,36,286 and INR 2,44,284 (on-road, Delhi).

Royal Enfield Himalayan 2021 – Changes

The updated RE Himalayan adventure tourer is equipped with Tripper navigation function, which was first introduced in the Meteor 350 cruiser. This system is placed next to the instrument console. The intrument console retains the older look.

The motorcycle comes with few changes to keep things fresh in the market. The front has black enclosure for the headlamp, while the windshield is taller for better wind protection. The front frame placed next to the fuel tank is smaller in size and is moved forward. The motorcycle gets new tan-coloured seat, which is claimed to be more comfortable. It gets a blacked-out heat shield for the exhaust, while the luggage rack has also been updated. The bike gets 3 new colors – Pine Green, Mirage Silver and Granite Black. The motorcycle retains th round headlamps, and rear-view mirrors, and turn indicators, along with scultped fuel tank.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 2021 is powered by the same BS6-compliant, 411cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 24.3bhp of power and 32Nm of torque. This engine is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The adventure tourer rides on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels. For suspension duties, the bike gets telescopic front forks and pre-load adjustable rear monoshock. The motorcycle has disc brakes on both wheels, and a dual-channel ABS as standard.
