Revolt Motors will resume bookings for the RV400 electric bike from 15th July at 12pm onwards. The model will be available for bookings in 6 cities, namely, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai. Just so you know, the bookings for the Revolt electric bike were recommenced on 18th June and less than two hours all units were sold out. Due to massive rush, the company stopped taking pre-orders for a short duration.
The two-wheeler manufacturer says that it has sold Rs 50 crores worth of the Revolt RV400 in the first round. Deliveries of the booked units will begin from September 2021. Under the government’s latest amendments to the FAME II scheme, the Revolt electric bike witnessed a significant price cut. Now, the Revolt RV400 costs Rs 1.07 lakh and Rs 90,799 in Delhi (due to additional subsidies offered under Delhi EV Policy).
Powertrain setup of the Revolt electric bike includes a 3.24 KWh lithium-ion battery and a 3kW (mid drive) electric motor delivering an instant torque of 175Nm. It offers a top speed of 85kmph. The bike delivers a claimed range of 156km on a full charge and offers three riding modes – Normal, Eco and Sport.
The Revolt RV400 is India’s first artificial intelligence-enabled motorcycle featuring an embedded 4G LTE SIM that provides access to the internet and cloud-connected features. One can also access features via MyRevolt App such as satellite navigation, real-time motorcycle diagnostics, battery switch, bike locator, doorstep battery service, geo-fencing for security and online payment gateway via a dedicated Revolt mobile app.
The company is offering the RV300 with an 8 years/75,000km warranty with a service interval at every 10,000km. The top-end Revolt RV400 variant comes with an additional free tyre replacement facility, one set on three years. Both models are available with unlimited battery warranty.
