Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) recently rolled out the H’ness CB350 modern-classic motorcycle in the country. Priced at Rs 1.90 lakh, the bike takes directly on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Jawa 350. Honda’s premium offering is being retailed via its Big Wing dealerships in three cities, namely, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Gurugram. While the company doesn’t have any intention to launch its café racer version, a latest rendering previews what it might look like.

The rendered Honda CB350 café racer features clip-on handlebars giving it sportier looks and slightly forward-biased riding position. The handlebar has classic silver bar-end mirrors on either side and blacked-out shock absorbers. You can also notice the new graphics on the fuel tank. The footpegs, however, remain in their original position. The regular seat has been replaced with a new café racer-style single-piece unit featuring a seat cowl.

Minor changes have also been made to its rear section. The rendered Honda CB350 café racer has side panels with ‘Café-Racer’ decals. The model misses out on the grab handles. Design bits such as round headlamps, LED turn indicators and taillamps, engine with chrome garnish and exhaust and front and rear fender with chrome finish, alloy wheels with tubeless tyres and a semi-digital instrument cluster are carried over from the regular model. Powering the Honda CB350 is a 348cc single-cylinder engine that pushes out a peak power of 21bhp against 30Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are performed by a 5-speed manual gearbox. If launched, the café racer version might come with the same powertrain. The braking and suspension mechanism might also remain unchanged. The CB50 comes with 310mm and 240mm disc front and rear brakes. Its suspension system includes a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
