The Renault Kiger RXT(O) Variant price is now reduced by up to Rs 25,000 – now priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
The French automaker Renault has reduced prices of the top-selling variant of the Kiger SUV – the RXT (O) in the country. The Renault Kiger RXT (O) variant is now priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), as this variant is now cheaper by Rs 25,000. Before this price cut, the RXT (O) was priced at Rs 8.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
The RXT (O) is the top-selling & value-for-money variant in the Kiger’s line-up. The price cut should help Renault to further boost sales of the Kiger SUV. Besides price cut, Renault has also announced special discounts including cash benefits, exchange, corporate & loyality benefits on the top-spec RXZ trim.
The Renault Kiger RXT(O) variant comes equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, LED reflector headlights, LED tail-lights, a rear washer and wiper, and roof rails. Customers can also opt for a dual-tone roof. Inside the cabin, this variant gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, multi-functional steering wheel, dual glove boxes, powered ORVMs, anti-pinch driver’s window, keyless entry, push-button start, rear AC vents and others.
The Kiger is available with two engine options – a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol. While the former is good for 71bhp and 96Nm, the turbo unit produces 99bhp and 160Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual as standard, a 5-speed AMT with naturally-aspirated unit and a CVT with turbo engine.
Discounts on Kiger RXZ Trim
The top-spec variant is fitted with features like TFT digital driver’s display, automatic AC, four airbags and others. Customers can avail benefits up to 91,000 on the RXZ trim of the Kiger SUV. Renault is giving 10,000 cash benefits, a corporate discount of Rs 12,000, exchange discount of Rs 20,000 and loyality benefits of up to Rs 49,000.
Renault is also giving electronic stability program (ESP), hill start assist (HSA), traction control system (TCS) and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as standard safety features.
