RE Himalayan 450 Prices Increased By Rs 16,000 – New Price List

Royal Enfield had announced the prices of the Himalayan 450 adventure motorcycle in November 2023. The motorcycle was introduced in 3 trim levels – Base, Pass and Summit – at an introductory price range of Rs 2.69 lakh to Rs 2.84 lakh (ex-showroom). These introductory prices were valid till December 31, 2023 and are no longer applies. The company has now increased the prices of the Royal Enfield Himalayan by up to Rs 16,000.

New Royal Enfield Himalayan Prices

The entry-level Himalayan 450 Kaza Brown paint scheme is now expensive by Rs 16,000. It is now priced at Rs 2.85 lakh, as against Rs 2.69 lakh. The company has raised the prices of the Slate Blue and Salt variants are now raised by Rs 15,000, and are now tagged at Rs 2.89 lakh. The Kamet White and the Hanle Black colour options of the Himalayan 450 are now expensive by Rs 14,000. The Kamet White is now tagged at Rs 2.93 lakh, while the range-topping Hanle Black is tagged at Rs 2.98 lakh.

The new RE Himalayan is powered by a new 451.65cc, liquid-cooled engine, called Sherpa 450. This single cylinder engine churns out a power output of 40bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 40Nm at 5,500rpm. The powertrain is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slip-and-assist clutch. The motorcycle offers three distinct riding modes – Eco, Performance (with rear ABS engaged), and Performance (with rear ABS disengaged).

The new adventure motorcycle is based on a new twin-spar frame suspended with an open cartridge USD front fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear from Showa. The motorcycle rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch wire-spoke rims wrapped with custom tubed CEAT tires – 90/90-21 at the front and 140/80-R17 at the rear, respectively.
