Jaguar Land Rover India has rolled out the range-topping variant of its flagship SUV in the country. Called the Range Rover Sport SVR, the model has been priced from Rs 2.19 crore (ex-showroom). The carmaker says that the RR Sport SVR “refines & further elevates performance and luxury in an SUV by leveraging the best of bespoke British design and engineering”.
– Compared to the regular model, the new top-end variant carries sportier design elements inside and out along with a few extra goodies.
– In fact, several improvements have been made to its chassis and suspension setup. Its updated damping hardware ensures better turn-in, mid-corner grip and body control.
– The redesigned front bumper with vents enhances its brake cooling. Its performance brake pads and discs are said to offer improved performance at higher temperatures.
– Features such as body-coloured detailing at the rear and the SVR badge distinguish it from the regular model.
– As mentioned above, a few noticeable changes have been made to its interior. The Range Rover Sport SVR features the lightweight SVR Performance seats, which are claimed to provide “exceptional comfort”.
– The seats have high-quality perforated Windsor leather finish, while the seat backs are finished in satin black with an embossed SVR logo on the headrests.
– For entertainment purpose, the SUV offers 19-speaker, 825W Meridian Surround Sound system along with a dual-channel subwoofer and Trifield technology.
– Under the hood, the Range Rover Sport SVR features a 5.0L supercharged V8 petrol engine offering power worth 567bhp and 700Nm of torque. The SUV is claimed to do 0 to 100kmph in 4.5 seconds.
