Pravaig Dynamics, the Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup, has launched its all-new electric SUV in the country. Called Pravaig Defy, the model has been made available at Rs 39.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has made over $18 million investment on developing the electric SUV so far.
Powertrain system of the new Pravaig electric SUV includes a 90.2kWh battery pack and an electric motor. The setup returns a claimed power of 402bhp and 620Nm of torque. The Defy EV promises a range of over 500km on a single charge. It’s capable to do 0 to 100kmph in 4.9 seconds and attain a maximum speed of 210kmph. The SUV’s battery pack can be juiced-up from 0 to 80 per cent in 30 minutes by using a fast charger. It comes with the AWD (all-wheel drive) drivetrain system.
Buyers have 11 exterior colour options to choose from, namely, Emperor Purple, Haldi Yellow, Moon Gray, Shani Black, Hindigo, Bordeaux, 5.56 Green, Lithium, Vermillion Red, Kaziranga Green, and Siachin Blue. The new Pravaig Defy electric SUV offers a ground clearance of 234mm, legroom of 1215mm and headroom of 1050mm. Some of its key features include a large touchscreen infotainment system with multiple connectivity options, Devialet stereo system, connected car tech, an air purifier, wireless phone charging, cooled and electrically adjustable captain seats, USB Type-C charging ports, rear touchscreen and more.
The new Pravaig Defy electric SUV has a massive body-built with minimalistic design language. It has a twin sunroof, flared front fenders, a sharply raked front and rear windscreen, multis-poke alloy wheels, black plastic cladding, a flat roofline, big roof-mounted spoiler, and taillamps running across the rear section with a Red LED strip on the top.
