Ola has announced that its soon-to-be-launched electric scooter has received an overwhelming response from buyers. The electric scooter has received a massive 100,000 bookings within the first 24 hours, making it the most pre-booked scooter in the world.
Ola Electric started taking pre-orders for the electric scooter in the evening of July 15th. Interested buyers can pre-book the scooter online at a token amount of Rs 499. The company has said that the scooter is receiving unprecedented demand from customers who continue to throng the website to book the scooter in record numbers.

The new Ola electric scooter is claimed to offer class leading speed, high range, the biggest boot space as well as advanced technology. The company said that the new scooter will be priced aggressively to make it widely accessible. The scooter price and features will be released in the coming days.
The Ola electric scooter will be made-in-India for the world. It will be manufactured at the company’s state-of-the-art Futurefactory in Tamil Nadu. The first phase of the factory is nearing completion and will be operationalised soon, while the full capacity of 10 million vehicles per annum will be built by next year.
