Nissan has finally introduced the Magnite sub-4 meter SUV in the Indian market. Priced between Rs 4.99 lakh and Rs 9.35 lakh, the new Nissan Magnite is the most affordable sub-4 meter SUV in the country. At this price point, the compact SUV could impact the sales of segment-leaders as well as several B-segment hatchbacks including the Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Tata Altroz and others.
Nissan Magnite’s direct rivals are Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300 and others. All these SUVs are available at a price tag of over Rs 6.5 lakh. In fact, the Magnite is around 1.7 lakh to 2 lakh cheaper than its rivals. On the other hand, the B-segment hatchbacks are priced in the range of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 9 lakh. – The Magnite 1.0L NA with MT version is available in the price bracket of Rs 4.99 lakh and Rs 7.55 lakh. On the other hand, the Magnite Turbo MT version is priced between Rs 6.99 lakh and Rs 8.45 lakh.
