Nissan Magnite Compact SUV Launch Expected In Q1, 2021

Nissan has officially released the interior and exterior images of the Magnite sub-4 meter SUV. The company hasn’t revealed the launch date of the SUV, but stated that the launch will take place this financial year. The Nissan Magnite was earlier planned to be launched during festive season; however, the launch has been pushed to early next year (most probably in January 2020).

Before Magnite, Nissan’s alliance partner Renault will launch the Kiger compact SUV in India. Codenamed HBC, the sub-4 meter SUV will be based on the CMF-A modular platform that also underpins the Nissan Magnite. The pictures suggest that the Magnite was earlier planned to be launched under the Datsun nameplate. However, Nissan is slowly discontinuing the Datsun brand due to poor sales.
