New Trouve H2 Electric Maxi Scooter Teased; 230km Range

Trouve Motor, an electric vehicle start-up has teased an all-new electric maxi scooter. Called the Trouve H2, the new model is claimed to be ‘India’s first Hyper-Maxi scooter’ and the pre-booking will commence as early as August 2022. Deliveries for the new scooter is claimed to be commenced in the first half of 2023.

The new Trouve H2 Maxi Scooter is claimed to be designed in-house at the brand’s R&D facility in Bangalore. The company also plans to introduce two more maxi scooters in 2023.

Commenting on the upcoming H2 Electric Maxi scooter, Arun Sunny, Founder of Trouve Motor said, “The electric 2-wheeler segment in India has exponentially grown in the last few years. In 2021 alone, it recorded a staggering 132% growth, indicating that 2022 will be even better. And with the launch of our electric maxi-scooters, we not only aim to contribute to this growth trajectory but also strive to further revolutionize this space by bringing more innovation.”

The teaser image reveal that the Trouve H2 Electric Maxi Scooter gets an exposed carbon fibre finish with green pinstripe accents. The rider footwell is split in two by a floor console with the front wheel partially tucked away within the front apron. It comes with a stepped seat, a low set LED headlamp integrated in the front apron, and a large windscreen. The scooter has a sleek tail-lamp and the rear number plate holder and turn indicatos placed lower down.

The new Trouve H2 Maxi Scooter supports 4G connectivity and in-built Google to provide internet-backed features. For suspension duties, the scooter gets upside-down front fork and a mono-shock at the rear. For braking, the scooter gets disc brakes with 2 piston callipers. The maxi scooter rides on 14-inch wheels.

The Trouve H2 Electric Maxi Scooter is powered by a liquid-cooled electric motor that develops 7.9kW (10.6bhp) of peak power or 4.8kW (6.4bhp) of continuous power. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox that drives the rear wheel via a belt drive system. It is claimed to offer an electric range of between 130-230km per charge.
