Tata Motors has introduced a new Ceramic Coating for its new flagship SUV – new Tata Safari. The carmaker says its “one of an industry first service” with an advanced hydrophilic formulation technology that revitalizes the appearance of the vehicles. Customers can avail the new ceramic coating service at Rs 28,500 (inclusive of GST) at any authorized Tata dealership. The carmaker claims that its new ceramic coating lasts much longer than the conventional treatments. In fact, it helps in shedding debris and grime while protecting the vehicle against pollution, solvents, acid rain, etc. It forms a strong crystal-layer and mixes well with the paintwork to reduce fading caused by UV rays. Tata’s new ceramic coating not only prevents oxidation and corrosion, but its easy to maintain as well. The company will introduce its new ceramic coating service for all its passenger vehicles. One must note that the prices will vary segment-wise.
The new Tata Safari is being offered with pentacare extended warranty that has 3 options – 2+1 years/ 1.15 lakh kms (whichever comes first ), 2+2 years/ 1.30 lakh kms (whichever comes first ) and 2+3years(Pentacare) /unlimited kms. The package covers important maintenance services of all critical parts such as the engine and engine management system, transmission system and gearbox, air conditioning system, fuel system, and much more. Furthermore, any breakdown related to the malfunctioning of the clutch and suspension are also covered in Extended Warranty for up to 50,000 kms. Tata Motors has also launched a pan India maintenance service plan for the new Tata Safari. Called the Value Care Maintenance Contract (AMC), it guarantees protection against unexpected repair cost and provides substantial savings through protection against inflation & price volatility of lubricants during the functioning of the vehicle. There are three plans – Value Care Gold, Value Care Promise to Protect and Value Care Silver. Under these categories, one can avail a variety of services such as oil replacements, unexpected wear and tear repairs for vehicle parts, consumables, service parts and regular servicing of the vehicles at stipulated & recommended periods.
