Japanese automaker, Nissan has revealed the all-new X-Terra 7-seater SUV for the Middle-East. The new model is based on the Nissan Navara 2021, which is based on the redesigned ladder frame chassis. The new Nissan X-Terra 2021 features a four-wheel drive system, which has a four-wheel lock, brake limited slip differential and electronic locking rear differential.
Exterior and Interior
The new Nissan X-Terra 2021 is designed at the Global Design studio in Japan. It measures 4.9 meters in length, 2.1 meters in width and 1.9 meters in height, and has a ground clearance of 243mm. The new model shares styling cues from the Patrol SUV. The front fascia of the SUV features the signature V-motion front grille with thick frame and revised horizontal chrome bars.
The SUV comes fitted with uniquely styled C-shaped LED signature headlamps. It also has quad LED projector lamps, which is claimed to offer high-tech vibe. At the back, the SUV gets wide LED signature tail-lamps and characteristic chrome center finisher. The top-spec model comes fitted with a set of 18-inch machine cut alloys. Chrome side steps and a chrome auto folding mirrors completes the overall look.
The new X-Terra comes with dual-tone black and light grey interior scheme along with a choice of leather seat fabrics. The instrument panel has a full-width horizontal design. The vehicle gets soft touch materials on dashboard and door trims. There is a big 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and user friendly dial controls for audio and ventilation functions.
Nissan X-Terra 2021 Specs
The new X-Terrain features a five-link coil spring rear suspension system and rigid rear-wheel axle. It is powered by a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine paired to a 7-speed automatic gearbox. This engine churns out 165bhp of power and 241Nm of torque. The SUV also features a dial on the system that allows drivers to quickly shift from two-wheel drive to a 4×4 drive.
The all new Nissan X-Terra 2021 comes equipped with hill start assist, hill descent control, brake limited slip differential and electronic locking rear differential.
