New Kia Carnival Coming After Sonet Facelift – All Key Details

The fourth-generation Kia Carnival, showcased as KA4 at the previous year’s Auto Expo, has been undergoing test rounds in the country after receiving a mid-life update in global markets. While retaining the unchanged 2.2L turbo diesel engine, available with both manual and automatic gearbox options, the MPV is set to receive substantial updates to its exterior and interior.

Globally, the new Carnival offers a hybrid powertrain, featuring a 1.6L turbo petrol engine coupled with an electric motor from the Sorento. In addition to the hybrid option, the 3.5L petrol and 2.2L diesel engines continue to be part of the lineup.

The 2024 Kia Carnival boasts cosmetic enhancements, showcasing a redesigned front grille, updated front bumper, and new headlamps with prominent LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). The rear bumper is adorned with narrower lights featuring metallic trim. The revised taillamps, subtly repositioned logo, and license plate contribute to the distinguishing features of the updated model. Inside, the revamped Carnival introduces dual 12.3-inch screens serving as a digital instrument cluster and an infotainment system. The MPV is equipped with a digital rearview mirror, Head-Up Display (HUD), front and rear dash cameras, a rotary drive selector, ambient lighting, an updated digital key, an improved infotainment system with enhanced Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, and an optional 14.6-inch rear entertainment screen.
