New Hyundai Creta Facelift Variant-Wise Engine Options

Nationwide bookings for the eagerly awaited new Hyundai Creta facelift are now open, with prices set to be officially announced on January 16, 2024. Hyundai has offered a sneak peek into the variants, engine options, and key features ahead of its market debut. The new Creta will be available in seven trims: E, EX, S, S (O), SX, SX Tech, and SX (O). The three engine options include a new 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol, a 115bhp, 1.5L petrol, and a 115bhp, 1.5L diesel.

All variants can be paired with the 1.5L petrol-manual engine gearbox combination, while the 1.5L turbo-petrol DCT (7-speed) gearbox combination is exclusive to the top-end SX (O) trim. The 1.5L petrol CVT will be available in three trims: S (O), SX Tech, and SX (O). Except for the SX, all other variants will feature the 1.5L diesel manual combo.

The 1.5L diesel automatic transmission will be an option for the S (O) and SX (O) trims. The new Creta facelift will be offered in six single-tone color options and will also provide a dual-tone Atlas White with Black Roof paint scheme for the SX Tech and SX (O) trims. In terms of interior features, the new Hyundai Creta facelift promises an array of additions, including a 360-degree camera and ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). The redesigned dashboard, incorporating new dual connected screens, an updated center console with a touch panel for HVAC controls, and dual-zone climate control, aims to elevate the SUV’s aesthetics and comfort quotient.

The mid-life update brings noticeable cosmetic changes to the new Creta, particularly at the front end. The SUV will showcase a newly-designed grille, new headlamps with full-width LED DRLs, and updated front and rear bumpers.
