The Hyundai Creta has been a game-changer in the Indian automotive market since its initial launch in July 2015. Following a generation change in 2020 and several minor updates and variant changes, the Creta is ready for another substantial update. While the new model is reported to begin production in January, its official launch is anticipated for February 2024. Numerous spy images and videos of the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift have already surfaced, offering intriguing details.
New 2024 Hyundai Creta Interior and Features:
The latest batch of images reveals the interior of the 2024 Hyundai Creta, confirming the presence of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) sensors and a front camera for a 360-degree view. The Creta’s ADAS suite is expected to provide advanced safety features such as an auto emergency braking system, blind spot monitoring and collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and high beam assist. It’s also possible that the new Creta will feature a fully digital 10.25-inch driver’s display, similar to the updated Seltos. The feature list is extensive and includes USB Type-C chargers for rear seat passengers, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, keyless entry with push-button start, a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control, six airbags, parking sensors, and more.
New 2024 Hyundai Creta Design Changes:
The updated Hyundai Creta will undergo significant cosmetic changes. Interestingly, the facelifted version will draw design inspiration from the global-spec Hyundai Palisade SUV. The front end will see a complete revision, featuring a new grille, vertically positioned headlamps with a split pattern, a tweaked bumper, and H-shaped LED DRLs similar to the Exter micro SUV.
While the alloy wheel design may remain the same, there’s a possibility of larger 18-inch wheels, akin to the Alcazar. The rear bumper will also be updated, and the redesigned tailgate will give the Creta a refreshing look from the rear.
New 2024 Hyundai Creta Engine:
The 2024 Hyundai Creta, with its mid-life update, will adopt the 1.5L turbo petrol engine from the Verna, delivering 160bhp. Both manual and 7-speed DCT gearboxes are expected to be offered. The existing 115bhp 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 115bhp 1.5L diesel engines will continue to be available as well.
