New 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift – Front, Rear Design Revealed

Hyundai Motor India has revealed the first official sketches of the highly anticipated Creta facelift, showcasing the updated front and rear design changes. The refreshed model adheres to Hyundai’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language, sharing some design elements with the Exter micro SUV and the new Santa Fe SUV. The front fascia features a redesigned radiator grille, quad-beam LED headlamps, a new horizon LED positioning lamp with DRLs, and an upright hood. The 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift is equipped with new diamond-cut, dual-tone alloy wheels (exclusive to higher trims) and a functional footstep.

The rear section, as depicted in the official sketch, exhibits new taillamps, a redesigned tailgate, and a full-width LED strip. The 2024 Creta facelift introduces a new Robust Emerald Pearl color scheme, alongside the regular Fiery Red, Titan Grey, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Ranger Khaki shades. Customers also have the option to choose the dual-tone variant with Atlas White and Black Roof. The overall dimensions remain unchanged, and Hyundai has confirmed that the new Creta model lineup will comprise seven trims – E, EX, S, S (O), SX, SX Tech, and SX (O).

On the engine front, the Creta facelift offers three options: a new 1.5L turbo petrol, a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, and a 1.5L turbo diesel. The turbo petrol engine, borrowed from the Verna, delivers an impressive 160bhp. Four gearbox options are available: 6-speed manual, Intelligent Variable Transmission (iVT), 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), and 6-speed automatic, with specific engine-gearbox combinations varying by variant.

Bookings for the new Creta are already open, with prices set to be announced on January 16, 2024. Given the comprehensive design and feature upgrades, the facelifted SUV is expected to witness a price increase.
