The eagerly awaited next-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is poised to make its debut in India on September 1, 2023. This upcoming model promises a range of enhancements across specifications, design, features, and variants. Notably, the new Bullet 350 is expected to offer a more refined engine, resulting in reduced vibrations and noise. The bike will adopt the brand’s new 350cc J-series engine, sourced from the RE Meteor 350, delivering a claimed power output of 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm. Power will be transmitted through a 5-speed gearbox.
On the suspension front, the motorcycle will feature conventional telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged rear shocks. Braking duties will be handled by single disc brakes at both the front and rear wheels, with the option for dual-channel ABS. The bike will roll on 100-section and 120-section tires for the front and rear respectively.
Despite the modern upgrades, the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will retain its signature retro styling, including a black teardrop fuel tank adorned with gold pinstripes and the iconic badge. As per leaked brochure scans, the new RE Bullet 350 will be available in variants named Military, Standard, and Black Gold. Warranty offerings include a standard 3-year/30,000km warranty with an option to extend to 5 years/50,000km.
While precise pricing will be unveiled on launch day, speculations suggest that the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will likely begin around Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom). This addition to the Royal Enfield product lineup is expected to bridge the gap between the RE Hunter 350 and Classic 350 models. The new Bullet will be followed by the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 that’s slated to go on sale on 1st November 2023.
