MG Astor was recently launched in the country at an introductory price of Rs 9.78 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV model lineup comes with 1.3L turbo petrol and 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine options. While the former makes a top power of 140bhp with 200Nm, the latter is good for 110bhp and 144Nm. The naturally aspirated petrol unit can be had with either a 5-speed manual or an 8-speed CVT automatic gearbox. The turbo petrol motor, on other hand, comes with the 6-speed torque convertor automatic transmission.
