Volkswagen is considering the introduction of the Tayron 7-seater SUV in India, as indicated by media reports. This model will be based on the MQB-EV platform and is planned to be assembled in India as a CKD (Completely Knocked Down) unit. The expected launch date for the Tayron in India is early 2025. Volkswagen’s entry into the Indian hybrid SUV market is expected to provide consumers with yet another eco-friendly SUV option.
